Overview
Cardiac arrest can happen anytime and knowing CPR can save a life. The HLTAID009 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation course at Hopkins equips you with the essential skills to respond confidently in an emergency. Learn how to perform CPR on adults, children, and infants, use an AED, and assist an unconscious person until help arrives.
On completion, you will receive a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment (HLTAID009). CPR certification must be renewed annually.
Course Delivery and Assessment
Each candidate must demonstrate skills in realistic scenarios and simulations. CPR skills must be demonstrated on resuscitation mannequins in accordance with ARC guidelines.
